A specialized non-toxic, water-based acrylic wash formulated by Games Workshop.
It features a thin, low-surface-tension consistency that leverages capillary action to flow smoothly into cracks, joints, and recesses without drowning flat surface details. Dries to a completely smooth matte finish.
A deep, transparent red-brown to dark magenta-purple tone. It provides a distinctly aggressive, warm, and moody shadow compared to standard cool black or brown washes. 
Glazing or washing over metallics to add rich, warm contour shadows with a subtle purple-red undertone. Excellent for shading rugged, weathered skin or open-plains warriors. Adds immediate depth and aged character to leather pouches, boots, and straps.
When applied selectively and concentrated into tight gaps or structural armor joints, it creates a highly convincing dried blood or chaotic corruption aesthetic.
