The Orks Zodgrod Wortsnagga is a multi-part plastic individual character miniature kit produced by Games Workshop for Warhammer 40,000. Zodgrod is an Epic Hero character belonging to the Beast Snaggas and Snakebites subkultur.
Known as an eccentric and bad-tempered Runtherd, he is legendary for training "Super Runts" (highly aggressive Gretchin) and for being fanatically protective of his diminutive trainees.
The single-option character sprue is tailored for easy assembly and specific aesthetic detailing, builds one highly detailed Zodgrod Wortsnagga miniature from 12pc plastic kit. 50mm Citadel Round Base included for appropriate battlefield footprint, the miniature features his signature crackling Grabzappa cattle-prod pole weapon, the needle-firing Squigstoppa Numba 5 pistol, and an incredibly distinct "hair squig" hairpiece worn proudly on his head.
Zodgrod acts as one of the ultimate force multipliers for cheap screening infantry units within an Ork army list:
Leader (Gretchin): He attaches directly to a squad of Gretchin (Grots).
Super Runts: While leading a Gretchin unit, he grants the entire squad Scouts 9", a +1 bonus to Hit rolls, a +1 bonus to Wound rolls for all attacks, and enforces a -1 penalty to Wound rolls for incoming attacks targeting his unit.
Special Dose: During a turn in which you declare a Waaagh!, his rules add an additional +6" to the Move characteristic of his entire unit, turning a slow Grot mob into an incredibly fast, objective-stealing screen.
Scout Transport Trick: If you load Zodgrod and his Gretchin unit into a dedicated Ork Trukk, the vehicle inherits his Scout 9" keyword, allowing you to reposition your transport vehicle before the first turn begins.
Da Grabzappa: In melee, he swings with 5 attacks hitting on a 2+ at Strength 7, AP -2, and Damage 2, allowing him to reliably punch well outside his weight class.
