Water-based acrylic paint, smooth matt finish.
As part of the Citadel Layer series, this paint features a lower pigment concentration than standard "Base" paints. It is formulated to be translucent enough to allow underlying coats to subtly show through, making it perfect for building up rich, natural tones through successive thin coats.
It is highly recommended for edge highlighting, fine details, light tones, and bone textures.
It pairs excellently as a high-tier highlight over darker bone tones like Ushabti Bone, and can transition into brighter edge highlights using Pallid Wych Flesh.
