A premium, water-based metallic acrylic paint manufactured by Games Workshop.
It features a brighter, highly reflective silver formula with fine metallic flakes, engineered to deliver a smooth matte-to-satin finish.
Unlike Base paints, Citadel Layer formulas have a lighter pigment density, allowing hobbyists to apply clean, translucent coats or sharp edge highlights over darker undercoats like Leadbelcher or Ironbreaker without obscuring intricate surface details.
Ideal for final edge-highlighting on weapons, mechanical joints, and armor plating. It adds a clean, popping contrast to metallic surfaces without looking messy.
This water-based mixture is entirely non-toxic though it may evoke localized allergic reactions on sensitive skin.
