Layer paints are designed to be applied straight over basecoats without manual mixing. Because of its sickly, pale aesthetic, Nurgling Green is primarily used for organic, weathered, or corrupted surface textures. It is a pale, muted, pastel olive-green shade registering as a medium-light yellow-green.
Modelers use it to paint organic environmental wear such as lichen, moss, and surface patina on terrain pieces or military vehicle hulls. It serves as a staple palette color for painting Nurgling skin, Plague Marines, and Chaos Daemons. It is excellent for rendering decaying flesh, pustules, boils, and the pallid skin of Plague Zombies or undead miniatures.
It dries to a completely flat matte finish. As a "Layer" paint, it features a lower pigment concentration and higher fluidity compared to "Base" paints, allowing it to flow smoothly off brush bristles for clean detail work without obscuring fine miniature sculpts.
It is a non-toxic, odorless, water-based acrylic paint formula. It safe for indoor use and can be effortlessly thinned down using water or acrylic medium.
