High-pigment acrylic metallic paint formulated to apply a solid foundation coat over miniatures.
This non-toxic, water-based formula dries to a smooth, flat matte metallic finish, preserving the crisp details of your model. As a cornerstone of the Citadel Base line, its high concentration of metallic flakes ensures excellent opacity and smooth coverage with just a single layer over black, white, or brown undercoats.
The color itself is a deep, warm antique bronze or dark copper-gold tone.
It is heavily used throughout the Warhammer hobby space as the go-to base coat for Chaos Space Marine armor trim, Imperial Aquila details, mechanical components, and aged fantasy metalwork.
