1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit of the World War II Imperial Japanese Navy special attack floatplane. Historically, the Seiran was built to be stored in and launched by catapult from the massive I-400 class submarines for surprise raids.
Includes a multi-part interior with accurate consoles, an instrument panel, pilot/crew seats, and a 13mm rear machine gun with its mount.
Features fine, recessed panel lines across the fuselage and wing parts, comes with parts to build an 800kg bomb and a dedicated beaching dolly, which serves as a static display stand.
The included decal sheet allows you to build one of six distinct aircraft from the 631st Kaigun Kokutai.
The finished fuselage measures 165mm long with a 172mm wingspan.
Approximately 50 pieces molded in medium grey and clear plastic, the instructions recommend adding 12g of nose weight inside the front fuselage so the aircraft rests properly on its beaching dolly without tipping backwards.
